María Bastarós Hernández (Zaragoza, 1987) is an art historian, cultural manager and writer. Her novel Historia de España contada a las niñas (2018) was awarded the Puchi Award, the Cálamo Otra Mirada award and the Narrative Award from the Valencian Critics Association. She is also the author of Herstory: a History of Women and Sexbook: a History of Sexuality. She teaches creative writing courses at the Fuentetaja School. This is the first time her work has been translated into the English language.
